An organ recital will be given in St. John’s Church on Saturday at 8 p.m. Included in the programme is Rachmaninoff’s Pianoforte Concerto in C Minor. This brilliant work, which is so full of melody and rhythm, should appeal to all music lovers. The orchestral part will be played on the organ, and those who heard this combination of organ and piano in the Schumann Concerto last year, will not fail to hear this recital. The soloists will be Mrs T. Mathews (pianiste) and Mrs P. Frampton (soprano).
