EUCHRE PARTY AND DANCE
FUNCTION AT OTAHUTI There was a good attendance at the fortnightly euchre tournament and dance held in the Otahuti hall. The first prizes were won by Miss D. Forde and Mr A. Donald, while the consolation prizes went to Mrs T. H. Anderson and Mr T. Anderson, jun. Music for the dance was supplied by Mr I. McCallum (Wrights Bush), and Mr R. Shields was master of ceremonies. Among those present were Mr and Mrs T. H. Anderson, Mr and Mrs W. Belsham, Mr and Mrs R. Donald, Mr and Mrs J. McCallum (Wrights Bush), Mr and Mrs C. McCrostie; Mesdames F. J. O’Connell and McLeod. Misses J. Connor, I. Barrett (Invercargill), D. Forde, D. Officer, D. Kerr (Isla Bank), V. Cowan, H. Donald, M. McLeod, G. Cowan, P. Anderson, J. Leith, F. McCrostie, I. Cartwright, A.
