Public Notice of intention to make and , levy a General Rate and of the proportions it is proposed to appoint on the several classes of land in the district. PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that pursuant to the provisions of “The River Boards Act 1908” and “The Rating Act 1925” and amendments thereto the Winton River Board intends at the meeting to be held on the 15th July 1938 to make and levy for the year commencing on the first day of April 1933 and ending on the thirty-first day of March 1939 a General Rate on a graduated scale on the unimproved value of the several classes of land according to the classification of the land within the district in the following proportions:— Jd. in the £ upon lands m Class A, id. in the £ upon lands in Class B. Jd. in the £ upon lands in Class C. The rate will be payable in one sum on the 31st day of August 1938 at the Municipal Offices, Winton.
