STRICKLAND TO MEET TOMMY FARR
A message from New York states that Tommy Farr, British and Empire heavyweight champion, is to defend his Empire title against Maurice Strickland in Toronto, either in the last week of July or the first week of August. The fight will be over 15 rounds. The terms include a guarantee of £5OOO for Farr and £2OOO for Strickland.
