ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL
MEETING OF EXECUTIVE
At the weekly meeting of the executive of the Southland Football Association, Mr M. O’Rorke presided. It was decided to use three balls in future in all senior games. Mr.T. McMurdo gave a ball to the association. The secretary was instructed to complete arrangements with the City Council about playing areas. It was stated that the Referees’ Examination Board would be in Invercargill next Saturday to test referees in a practical examination. The following is the draw for Saturday:—Central v. Thistle, at Biggar street, at 1.30 p.m.; Corinthians v. Mataura, at Biggar street, at 2.45 p.m. Junior Competition.—Thistle v. Boys’ Brigade Old Boys’ B at South school, at 1.30 p.m.; 8.8. Old Boys’ A v. Mataura, at South School at 2.45 p.m.
