MEXICAN OIL FOR GERMANY

Part Of Payment To

Be In Goods

BRITISH AND AMERICAN LOSS A NAZI GAIN

(United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright) (Received June 16, 8.50 p.m.)

NEW YORK, June 16.

The Mexican Government has completed a deal through a New York firm, for 10,000 barrels of oil, consisting largely of the expropriated British and American oil, in the ensuing six months, says the Mexico City correspondent of The New York Times. Sixty per cent, of the payment will be in German materials and machinery and the remainder will be cash. It is understood that no provision has been made to provide amortization for the expropriated companies out of this deal, and that the oil is designed principally for the German markets.
