MINIATURE RIFLE CLUB RESULTS OF WEEKLY SHOOT There was a good attendance at the weekly shoot of the Dipton Miniature Rifle Club. Three members, R. Watt, A. Ure and W. Mcßae, were equal with scores of 75. Mcßae won in the count back and was awarded the weekly badge. Miss Olive Taylor won the women’s section with a score of 73. Following are the results: Miss M. Gerrard, 64; R. Mitchell, 59. EUCHRE PARTY At the third of the series of euchre parties under the auspices of the Anglican Church there was an attendance of 45 players. The winner of the women’s prize was Miss G. Lake. Mr G. Stewart won the men’s prize and consolation prizes were awarded Mrs J. McLean and Mr J. Macaskill. BASKETBALL Playing at Dipton the Dipton A team beat Riversdale by 20 goals to thrge. The rough weather spoiled the game
as the ball was very greasy. Mrs L. Whitaker was referee. The Dipton team was as follows: Forwards, Mrs Martin, Miss G. Stewart and Miss Daphne Taylor; centres, Misses G. Caird, M. Palmer and D. Goble; defenders, Mrs Cavanagh, Miss and Mrs G. Craig. /
