CRASH IN CANYON COUNTRY • LOS ANGELES, May 18. The missing Lockheed air liner was found crumpled on the slopes of a mountain at Mint Canyon, 20 miles north of Saugus. All of the nine passengers were killed; the bodies were burned. Apparently the aeroplane crashed with terrific force and burst into flames. TWO ROYAL AIR FORCE AEROPLANES COLLIDE SINGAPORE, May 18. Three men are believed to have been drowned when two Royal Air Force aeroplanes collided and one dived into the sea in the Straits of Johore.
