USE FOR WASTE OIL
A private company is being formed in Invercargill for the refinement of used motor oil by a process of precipitation, the result of experiments conducted by Mr W. Batchelor, retired secretary of the United Friendly Societies Dispensary. It is claimed that the result of the treatment is almost immediate and the oil is left soft and volatile. Because it is not subjected to heat it does not become perished. The product after purification can be sold at half the price charged for the lubricant.
