Organized Labour won two'important victories when the Supreme Court unanimously upheld the National Labour Relations Board’s power to order the reinstatement of employees dismissed as a result of union activities, and confirmed that the strikers had a right to picket. The Court denied that when an employee strikes his contractual relationship with his employer ends, and thus that after the settlement of the strike reinstatement is not compulsory. The Court in a picketing case vacated an injunction enjoining garment workers from picketing a dress-making plant
