Better Inquiry For Government Loans

Government loans were firm and there was a better inquiry on the Invercargill Stock Exchange yesterday morning for this line. Banks remained steady at late rates. Nationals continued to be the only line in the insurance section for which there was any demand. Shipping companies stock continued to receive some inquiry and the same remark applied to frozen meat companies’- shares. Australian industrial issues were in better demand, but New Zealands showed no change. The mining market was uncertain.
