Renown’s Best raced below expectations at Addington as some extravagant opinions had been expressed about the ability of the Grattan Loyal mare. The conditions may not have been to her liking while she was asked to concede big handicaps, but if she is to be a successor to Harold Logan and Indianapolis, as has been stated, she should have been capable of showing UD.
