FIRST MAIL FLIGHTS TO SYDNEY

TRI WEEKLY SERVICE IN AUGUST EXPECTED

(Received March 16, 7.30 p.m.) LONDON, March 15.

The Australian Associated Press understands that the first mail flights to Sydney are likely in June or July, leading to a gradual extension to a full tri-weekly service in August. It is believed that an extension to New Zealand and penny half-penny postage can be expected at the end of 1938.
