NEW FLYING BOAT. —A picture taken at Rochester when the new flying-boat Corio, built by Short Brothers, was under trial. After passing her tests she will be used by Qantas Empire Airways, Australia. A modification of Imperial Airways Empire flying-boats, she will probably be used on the trans-Tasman service, which may be run by Qantas Airways.
