EGYPT TO AUSTRALIA PROBABLE COURSE CANBERRA, February 16. The Federal Prime Minister (Mr J. A. Lyons) has been informed by the British Government that an attempt by the Royal Air Force to establish a new world’s record for a non-stop flight will be made in April. The flight will start from Egypt and will probably end in North Australia. ROUTINE FLIGHTS BY BOMBERS FAST NEW ROYAL AIR FORCE AEROPLANES LONDON, February 15. The Daily Mail says that passing overhead, unseen and unheard, at an altitude of 14,000 ft, Blenheim bombers making a routine flight over Britain are breaking records every day. The Royal Air Force’s multi-seater aircraft made a remarkable flight recently from Abbotsinch (Renfrewshire) to Upavon (Wiltshire). It .covered the distance of 336 miles in 70 minutes, averaging 288 miles an hour despite bad weather.
