SHIPPING SUBSIDY TO LAPSE
SOUTH AFRICAN GRANT TO ITALY (Received February 16, 7.30 p.m.) CAPE TOWN, February 15. The South African Minister of Commerce (Mr W. Fourie) announced that the Government was not renewing its annual subsidy of £150,000 for Italian shipping lines.
