NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Southland County Council, as the Drainage Board of the above named Drainage District, at its meeting held on the 21st December 1937, resolved to levy the following rates on land in the Waimumu Stream Drainage District: 2d in the £ on lands in Class A. Id in the £ on land in Class B. id in the £ on lands in Class C. The rate to be for the period from the Ist October 1937, to the 30th September 1938, such rate being due and payable in one sum at the Offices of the Southland County Council, Clyde Street, Invercargill, on the 31st day of January 1938. YTOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Southland County Council proposes to apply to the Minister of Transport for approval to its proposal to classify roads under its control as indicated in a statement deposited and available for inspection at the Offices of the Southland County Council, Clyde Street, Invercargill. The roads to which classification is proposed to apply are Hodgson Road and Lawson Road. It is proposed that the classification be Class 4, available for the use thereon of any heavy motor vehicle (other than multi-axled heavy motor vehicle) which, with the load it is carrying weighs not more than 5 tons, or any heavy motor vehicle, which, with the load it is carrying, weighs not more than 9 tons. Any person objecting to the proposal is called on to lodge an objection in writing before 12 noon on Monday, 10th January 1938, of his objection and of the ground thereto, at the Council Offices. H.
