LODER CUP FOR 1937

PRESENTED TO AUCKLAND MUSEUM (United Press Association) WELLINGTON, December 26 The Loder Cup for 1937 has been awarded to the Auckland Institute and Museum in association with the name of its botanist, Miss Lucy M. Cranwell. The cup is awarded annually to the person or organization who or which has performed the most meritorious act during the year or whose work has culminated in that year in furthering the sentiments of the donor, the late Gerald W. Loder, afterwards Lord Wakehurst, of Sussex, England, “to encourage the protection and cultivation of the incomparable flora of the Dominion.”
