BALFOUR
The annual break-up and prize-giv-ing ceremony of the Balfour school took the form of a picnic at Ardlussa. The prize-list was as follows:— Form 2.—Mr Orr’s prize for drawing: Colin Stevens. Mr Proctor’s prize for perseverance, Lexia Baird; Mr Nicholl’s prize for progress, W. Gillespie. Form I.—D. Cooney 1, L. Lamb 2, R. Ward 3.
