NEGOTIATIONS NEAR COMPLETION

TRADE DELEGATIONS FROM AUSTRALIA (United Press Association) WELLINGTON, December 21. The trade discussions between members of the Australian trade delegation and representatives of the New Zealand Government were continued today. Present indications are that the negotiations are now approaching completion. The Australian Minister of Trade and Customs (the Hon. T. H. White) is to leave Wellington for Christchurch by the inter-island steamer express on Friday. He will return to Wellington about December 29 or 30 for the final stage of the negotiations. Mr White is to leave Wellington for Auckland a day or so later. He is scheduled to sail from Auckland for Sydney about January 4 or 6. He will probably visit Rotorua if he has sufficient time at his disposal.
