MARKETING OF ONIONS

PRODUCERS AND DISTRIBUTORS TO HOLD CONSULTATION (United Press Association) WELLINGTON, December 10. Arrangements for a consultation between the producers and distributors of onions early in the new year have been made by the Department of Agriculture, according to a statement issued this morning by the Minister of Agriculture (the Hon. W. Lee Martin). The Minister added that the present regulations on the marketing of onions had only been arrived at after careful consultation and before any modifications were made the industry would be consulted in order that its views might be given due consideration.
