RUSSIAN PRINCE TO FARM LABOURER
FATAL INJURIES WHILE DRIVING HAY CART (Received December 10, 7.45 p.m.) HELSINGFORS, December 10. Once a Life Guard officer and head of one of Russia’s noblest families, Prince Alexander Demidoff, died of injuries received while driving a hay cart. Exiled by the Bolsheviks, the Prince went to Finland with rich possessions Later he wait forced to sell his estates and when he was ruined he worked in the fields. ORDER FOR BRITISH DESTROYERS (British Official Wireless) (Received December 10, 6.30 p.m.) RUGBY, December 9. J. Samuel White and Company, Cowes, announce that they have received an order from the Brazilian Government for two destroyers of the same type as the British class, with a speed of 35 J knots.
