FORMER DIRECTOR OF PLUNKET NURSING

SUITABLE MEMORIAL DISCUSSED (United Press Association) WELLINGTON, November 2. Warm tributes to the memory of the late Miss Anne Pattrick, former Director of Plunket Nursing, were paid by speakers at a meeting held in Wellington to discuss the provision of a suitable memorial. One suggestion was that the memorial should take the form of a cot for a mother and her child at the Karitane Hospital, Dunedin. A nursing scholarship and memorial window in the chapel at the Christchurch hospital, Miss Pattrick’s home city, were also suggested. An executive committee was elected to go into the matter of arranging a suitable memorial.
