MODERN BARRACKS IN BRITAIN
(British Official Wireless) RUGBY, October 29. An expenditure of £7,000,000 on modernizing army barracks was announced by the Secretary for War (Mr L. Hore-Belisha). Mr Hore-Belisha also announced that Lieutenant-Colonel J. K. Dunlop had been appointed Assistant AdjutantGeneral of the Territorial Army at the War Office, with the temporary rank of colonel.
