ASSASSINATION PLOT SUSPECTED

FOREIGN TERRORISTS IN VIENNA (Received October 31, 6.30 p.m.) VIENNA, October 30. Police ,are investigating a suspected plot by a foreign terrorist organization to assassinate the Austrian Chancellor (Dr Kurt Schuschnigg). The first warning came from the proprietress of a tobacco kiosk near the Chancellery who advised the police that two foreigners questioned her about Dr Schuschnigg’s habits and movements. The police originally regarded the matter as unimportant, but further facts support th suggestion that the men planned to throw a bomb at the Chancellor’s car.
