Campbell, Invercargill, spent the week-end with Mr and Mrs H. W. D. Gazzard. Mrs E. Mathieson is the guest of Miss Malcolm, Meadowbank, Bayswater. Misses Donnan, Shaw and R. Campbell visited Dunedin during the weekend. Mr and Mrs G. A. Brash left on Saturday by motor for a tour through Canterbury. Mr and Mrs G. Brooker, Winton, were the guests of Mr and Mrs J. T. Wood and their daughters motored to Queenstown for the week-end. Mr and Mrs J. Neylon are spending a holiday in Tirnaru and Christchurch. Mr and Mrs J. Purdue, Mr and Mrs J. Prendeville; Mesdames B. Rushton, A. Grant, D. Spowart, J. Spowart; Misses S. Purdue C. Tikey, D. Rushton and R. Ward. Miss Vera Brown is spending a holiday in Gore.

OREPUKI Mr and Mrs J. Bishop and their two small sons have returned to Dunedin, after being the guests of Mr and Mrs R. Betteridge. Mrs A. Auld, Wellington, who is visiting her parents, Mr and Mrs W. Herricks, sen., spent a few days at Tuatapere recently. Miss M. Boniface, is visiting her aunt, Mrs J. Cook, Invercargill. Miss E. McCliskey has returned to Gore, after spending a few days at her home in Orepuki. Mr and Mrs D. S. Brown and family have returned to their home in Progress Valley, after being the guests of Mrs G. Popenhagen. Mrs Jackson, Invercargill, is the guest of her daughter, Mrs E. Crossland. Miss S. Irvine has returned to Invercargill after being the guest of Mrs Spence for a few days. Mrs N. McNay visited Invercargill during the week. Mr and Mrs A. Smith, sen., and Mr and Mrs A. Smith, and their two sons, Invercargill, were recent guests of Mr and Mrs R. Betteridge. Mrs J. Jones has returned to Invercargill from a holiday in Orepuki. Miss E. Bennett, has returned home after spending a few days in Invercargill. Mr and Mrs A. Ackers, Clifden, visited Orepuki during the week. Mr and Mrs H. Simpson, Tuatapere, were recent visitors to Orepuki.
