FORMER CATERER REMANDED FOR SENTENCE (United Press Association) NAPIER, October 27. In the Supreme Court at Napier William. James Hyde, a former caterer, was found guilty on charges of failing to keep proper books of account, also with contracting debts without having reasonable expectations of paying them. Hyde, a member of a firm of caterers to Public Works camps, filed a petition of bankruptcy in November last. A subsequent meeting of creditors decided that the position should be investigated. He was remanded ■until Friday for sentence. Another prisoner, John William McClure, who was to have appeared for trial on charges of escaping from lawful custody and breaking, entering and theft pleaded guilty and was remanded for sentence.
