FRENCH POSSESSIONS IN NORTH AFRICA
GOVERNMENT GIVEN FREE HAND IN CONTROL PARIS, October 19. The President (M. Albert Lebrun) signed a decree empowering the Minister for the Colonies (M. Albert Sarraut) to take whatever measures he considers necessary for the control of France’s possessions and protectorates in North Africa, about which the Government has lately been much concerned.
