RESCUE OF MAROONED COUPLE

EVACUATION BY AIR PLANNED KHARTOUM, October 18. The native searchers are bringing Brigadier-General A. C. Lewin and Mrs Lewin, who have been stranded at Seampes since October 9, to Kongor, where a Royal Air Force plane made a forced landing safely with the District Commissioner. It is hoped that the Lewins can be evacuated by air.
