RIVERTON

CONCERT A concert was held recently in Fleck’s Hall by the Colac Bay Maori party. There was a good attendance. Mr M., Belsham was the leader of the party. The programme included vocal solos, instrumental numbers, Maori hakas, and poi dances, etc. The camp fire playette was well received. The accompaniments were played with steel guitars and ukuleles. The stage manager was Mr M. Belsham. Vocal solos were given by Misses Te Au, Wixon and Hodges, Messrs J. Woods, R. Wixon and N. Belsham. The male members of the party gave a number of exhilarating Maori hakas and a number of poi dances were presented by the young women.
