AIRCRAFT MANUFACTURE IN AUSTRALIA

AMERICAN TYPE ENGINES NEW YORK, October 15. The Pratt-Whitney division of the United Aircraft Corporation has announced that it has licensed the Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation in Melbourne to manufacture the Wasp type of engines. Australian experts have been at the factory for a month studying methods. It is stated that the Commonwealth factory, will also manufacture the North American NA 16, a two-seater military plane in which the Wasp is the standard engine.
