DIRECTIONS FOR MAKING

Here is a party of jolly pierrots. After you have coloured them, cut out the stage floor (above). Slit along the two upper dotted lines of the tabs at the bottom of the floor, and bend them back from the lower dotted lines. Next cut out striped back of stage. Cut, bend back, and fold the middle tabs. Bend along the dotted lines at sides and top. Slip thick dotted lines AA, BB on stage floor, and pass tabs AA, BB through them. The stage will stand upright if the tabs are placed as indicated above. Cut out the pierrots; cut across the tabs at dotted lines, bending the two parts in opposite directions. Cut out the piano and bend tabs in the same way. Place the pierrots and piano on the stage. C on C, D on D, etc., as in sketch of finished n.vdel
