DUKE VISITS FUTURE NAZI LEADERS

FLIGHT OVER BALTIC SEA BERLIN, October 13. The Duke of Windsor had an exciting drive of 150 miles to inspect one of the four centres where future Nazi leaders are being trained. He travelled in a luxurious motor-bus designed by Herr Hitler for the use of distinguished people; it contains a shower-bath and sleeping accommodation. Crowds gathered in the market squares of every town and village and cried “Heil!” and gave the Nazi salute. The Duke inspected the black uniformed protective guards and gave them the Nazi salute.

The Duke listened to an explanation of the system of four years’ training after which those selected at the age of 28 go forth as perfect Nazis, to found racially, pure families and become leaders of the party. . The Duke and the leader of the Nazi Labour Front (Dr Robert Ley) then flew over the Baltic to the Island of Ruegen and saw the beach rest houses for workers under the auspices of the “Strength Through Joy” movement. They returned to Berlin by air.
