CONDITIONS FOR NEW OXFORD COLLEGE
LORD NUFFIELD INSISTS ON FELLOWSHIPS RUGBY, October 12. One of the conditions of acceptance of Lord Nuffield’s offer to build a new college at Oxford is that part of the endowment shall be devoted to the establishment of university fellowships of three classes: (1) Full-time fellows to conduct research and to assist in teaching. (2) Unofficial fellows already holding office in the university or its colleges. (3) Part-time fellows with practical experience in the professions or industry or commerce.
