VISIT TO AUSTRALIA

TWO NEW ZEALAND CRUISERS (United Press Association) WELLINGTON, October 13. The Minister of Defence (the Hon. F. Jones) today announced that in accordance with the plan for the regular inter-change of visits between the New Zealand Division of the Royal Navy and the Royal Australian Navy, the two cruisers, the Achilles and the Leande’-, will visit Australia during the coming summer. They will leave Auckland on January 20 and return towards the end of February after visiting Sydney, Melbourne, Hobart and Jervis Bay. On their return to New Zealand both cruisers will undertake coastal cruises.
