A length between the dead-heaters and third. The time was unavailable. The New Zealander Elanage was second in the Clarendon Handicap, which was won by Dazzling Star by half a neck. Whernside fell in the Waratah Maiden Hurdle Race and his rider, L. J. Hynes, received a broken collarbone. WRESTLING ELOMFIELD DRAWS WITH JUDSON (United Press Association) HAMILTON, October 1. “Lofty” Blomfield and Frank Judson drew in the first world challenge elimination bout at Hamilton last night. Each secured a fall, Judson taking the first fall in the fourth round with a dump following a series of elbow jolts and Blomfield evening in the seventh with a fall after he had Judson groggy from flying head locks. The bout was entertaining throughout.
