HARBOUR BOARDS’ DISPUTE

COMPLETE AGREEMENT REACHED (United Press Association) AUCKLAND, October 1. A complete agreement has been reached in the New Zealand Harbour Boards’ employees’ dispute according to a statement made by the Conciliation Commissioner (Mr R. E. Price) when the Conciliation Council proceedings ended today. Mr Price said a considerable amount of work had yet to be done in setting out the clauses agreed to and it would be several days before the dispute was ready for filing. The dispute affects the whole of the harbour boards in the Dominion and also covers the workers employed in harbours controlled by other local bodies.
