ORDERS FOR STEEL
(United Press Association) DUNEDIN, October 1. There is no duplication here of the reported difficulty in Christchurch of getting steel. English orders are fulfilled, although slowly, but English steel, at any rate, is not attracting the attention of either importers or contractors because the price is much higher than Australian which, to all intents and purposes, is as good. One importer stated • that while special millings might involve delay standard millings were obtainable almost as required.
