APPLICATION FOR LEAVE TO APPEAL DISMISSED (United Press Association) WELLINGTON, September 20. The Court of Appeal today dismissed an application for leave to appeal against his sentence made by William Albert John Grey, Kempton, a farmer and stock buyer, aged 51 years, who was sentenced by Mr Justice Smith in the Supreme Court at Wellington to three months’ imprisonment with hard labour after pleading guilty to a charge of failing to stop after an accident on the Masterton-Carterton road on August 3 when a truck driven by him struck a bus.
