TWIN BABIES DIE OF LACK OF MILK

BROADCAST APPEAL ANSWERED TOO LATE LONDON, September 19. A most touching SOS broadcast last night appealed for human milk for newborn twins at Wells (Norfolk), whose mother was unable to feed them. A Chelmsford woman answered the appeal, her husband racing her at 90 miles an hour in his car, but she was too late. One baby died an hour after her arrival and the second early this morning.
