CHEESE MARKETING

CONTROL NOT CONTEMPLATED AT THE MOMENT (United Press Association) AUCKLAND, September 18. The control of cheese marketing is not contemplated at the moment although the Government is most anxious to assist in popularizing the consumption of that product within New Zealand according to a statement by Mr F. R. Picot, Director of Internal Marketing. Yesterday and today Mr Picot discussed with butter distributors the internal marketing regulations introduced recently by Order-in-Council. In the Auckland district so far prices only have been fixed but Mr Picot hinted that a general scheme would be enforced here in the near future.
