With the approach of summer many people are looking forward to spending weekends in sight-seeing away from their usual environment. Sunday is a popular day for those who are unable to undertake a journey calling for a night away from home and in this connection the Railway Department, by means of its cheap one day excursions enable many people to have an enjoyable and exhilarating trip by rail. It is appropriate that this season’s excursions should commence with the running of a day trip to Dunedin on the date that the Summer-Time Act comes into force viz. Sunday 26, instant. Full particulars are advertised in this issue.
