NATIONAL DAFFODIL SHOW
PRINCIPAL RESULTS ANNOUNCED (United Press Association) PALMERSTON NORTH, Sept. 17. Parading in all their glory the most peerless daffodils in the North Island were on exhibition at the National Daffodil Society’s show which was opened today. The thousands of blooms make a memorable sight. Principal results were: — Champion yellow —A. Gibson (MartOChampion white trumpet—A. GibS °Champion bi-colour—Dr J. R. Boyd (Christchurch). Champion incomparabilis—W. H. Booth (Carterton). Champion barrii—A. Gibson. Champion bloom of show—A. Gibson. Wilson Perpetual Challenge Cup (six varieties) —A. Gibson. Perpetual Challenge Bowl (24 varieties)—H. J. Poole (Lower Hutt). Rhodes Challenge Cup (12 varieties New Zealand raised)—W. E.
