OTAGO FIFTY MILE CHAMPIONSHIP HANDICAPS FOR RACE ON SATURDAY The most important cycling race of the season will be held on Saturday over a 50-mile course to decide the Otago championship for the season. This is the first occasion on which an Otago road championship has been conducted by the Invercargill Cycling Club. The course will be to Kennington, Rimu, Seaward Downs and Edendale and back on the main road. Included in the 46 entries are 13 Dunedin riders. The holder of the title is C. W. Robinson, of the Invercargill Club. The race will start from Tay street at 2.15 p.m. and will finish on Tay street above Lindisfarne road. Trophies will be presented at the dance at Smith’s Hall in the evening.
