ATTEMPTED ESCAPE FROM PRISON
TWO MEN COMMITTED FOR SENTENCE (United Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, September 13. As a sequel to’the attempt to escape from Paparua Prison on September 8, Philip Daniel Trainor, a labourer, aged 24 years, and John Henry Wilson, a labourer, aged 25 years, pleaded guilty today to a charge of escaping from prison and were committed for sentence.
