PERCHERON STALLION

IMPORTATION TO DOMINION (United Press Association) WELLINGTON, September 13. Believed to be only the third of its kind to reach the Dominion, a Percheron stallion named Kadlunga Templar was landed from the Awatea from Sydney today and left for Gisborne tonight. It was purchased by Miss W. F. Lysnar in South Australia, artd is to be used for the breeding of weight-carry-ing hacks and hunters. The Percheron is a French draught horse, and is an active animal with a kind nature. The imported animal was bred from a winning strain which has taken championships in France, Canada, and England. Accompanying Miss Lysnar was Mr W. D. Lysnar, of Gisborne, formerly a member of Parliament.
