TINNED GOODS PREFERRED LONDON, September 2. Professor R. Burns, of Newcastle-on-Tyne, told the British Association Congress at Nottingham that many people were so accustomed to inferior food that they lost all taste for good food. “If you present them with fresh milk,” he said, “they will take one sip and say ‘this is horrid stuff, give us some from a tin.’”
