ANNUAL TOURNAMENT CONTINUED INTERESTING MATCHES The Southland Table Tennis Association’s annual tournament was continued last evening, women’s A and B grade and men’s A and B grade doubles handicaps being played. Willing wrestling characterized the bout between “Lofty” Blomfield and Joe Woods tonight, Blomfield being awarded the decision on a foul in the seventh round. Blomfield secured a hold with an octopus clamp, following a series of elbow jolts in the third round. Woods equalized in the fifth round with a dump and a body press. The seventh round was particularly willing, both elbow jolting freely. Woods was disqualified for punching. The decision met with a mixed reception by the packed house.
