Orepuki SCHOOL GAMES
The Colac Bay School basketball and Rugby football teams travelled to Orepuki recently to play the local school teams. The Colac Bay,basketball team defeated Orepuki by nine goals to four. The Orepuki Rugby football team won by 34 points to nil. BASKETBALL The Te Tua B grade basketball team travelled to Orepuki recently and defeated the local B team by 14 goals to 10. EUCHRE TOURNAMENT Those who won prizes at the Tennis Club’s euchre tournament were:—Mrs Ericson and Mr A. Suddaby (first) and Miss Humphries and Mr J. Linton (second). Consolation prizes were won by Mrs J. Fitzgerald and Mr L. Bennett. The winner of the toilet set was Mr Gallatly, Invercargill.
