UNCLE JIM WINS STEEPLECHASE SALIENT KNIGHT SCORES (United Press Association) WAIMATE, July 17. The Waimate Hunt Club’s steeplechase race meeting was held in fine but overcast weather. The attendance was good and the track in good order. The totalizator handled £5613 10/against £4248 10/- last year. Results:— AMATEUR CUP STEEPLECHASE, £3O.
